• The Modern Educational Complex named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev Is actively seeking to appoint the right candidate for the following position: Preschool Swimming Teacher (Part-Time) Address: Baku, Samad Vurghun street 151 Stream: International (Cambridge) Application Requirements: Relevant educational qualification in Physical Education, Sports Science, Swimming Instruction, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; Recognised Swimming Teacher/Instructor qualification and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with children aged 2–6; First Aid and CPR certification; lifeguarding certification is an advantage; Experience in planning and delivering safe and age-appropriate swimming lessons for children with different ability levels; Strong communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to work with children, parents and colleagues; Good understanding of water safety, child safeguarding and emergency procedures; Intermediate - level spoken English; Azerbaijani and/or Russian is an advantage; Ability to work flexible hours according to the Preschool timetable and swimming programme. Main responsibilities: Plan and deliver safe and engaging swimming lessons for Preschool children aged 2–6; Teach children basic swimming and water safety skills and help develop their confidence and physical skills; Adapt activities to suit children’s different abilities and learning needs; Supervise children at all times and follow all pool, safety and emergency procedures; Monitor children’s progress and provide positive feedback and encouragement; Communicate with parents, teachers and the Preschool team about children’s progress and any concerns; Maintain a safe, positive and child-friendly learning environment; Take care of pool equipment and teaching materials and report any safety or maintenance issues; Follow school policies on Safeguarding, Child Protection, Health & Safety and Professional Conduct; Participate in relevant school activities, meetings and training when required; Carry out other reasonable duties related to the role as assigned by the Preschool Stage Leader or School Leadership Team.
